Why Little Renegades
I was a nervous kid who grew into an anxious adult. I spent many years tangled inside a mind that never learned how to be still. I thankfully stumbled into mindfulness exercises that gave me a doorway out of my noisy head and into a place of peace.
Now, as a mom of two young kids, I’m increasingly motivated to help little ones unlock their own sense of stillness as early as possible. By teaching them how to find space — space to pause, space to breathe, space between themselves and their reactions — we embolden their inherent capacity for stillness, confidence, and joy available to them at all times.
I hope these products reveal a new, imaginative world for you and your little ones to explore. If nothing else, I reckon it to be time well spent together.

ren·e·gade | \ ˈre-ni-ˌgād : an individual who rejects lawful or conventional behavior
We often get asked how we came up with the name Little Renegades. For us, renegades represent an intentional resistance to the status quo. Renegades are the wild ones who press against the narrow comforts of a conditioned world and invite a wider aperture into view. Renegades are the brave ones whose appetite for growth and healing far outweigh the temptation to stay the same. Renegades do not ask for permission to rise.
And we see it as our job as parents, caretakers, teachers, and counselors to arm our little ones with the wisdom that will unlock this knowingness within them. To give them the space to find their own path that leads to their highest self. To give them to the tools to unlock their own sense of wonder. And to broaden their individual capacity for creativity in a world that desperately needs their renegade spirit right now.
We believe in showing kids a pathway towards a more conscious world. This includes how we design, produce, and ship our products that are safe for our kids and our planet. Because of this, we've removed all plastic wrap from our products. Our mats and our card decks are now protected by recycled cardboard wrappers to ensure we're doing our part to eliminate unnecessary plastic waste. And a better world for all!
